You wouldn’t think that Turkey would be such a hot spot for beautifully crafted high-end fashion magazines, but their editions of Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar consistently put out stunning original content that rivals that of their prestigious contemporaries in the US and Europe. Vogue Turkey in particular has been a favorite in the Fashion Spot forums, but for August, Harper’s Bazaar Turkey gives the magazine some heavy competition with their editorial, newsstand and subscriber covers featuring Aline Weber photographed by Koray Birand. The Harper’s Bazaar covers hands down completely outshines Vogue Turkey’s Miranda Kerr cover.
“WOW Amazing!!!” Bertrando3 exclaimed. “Love the cover, love the editorial and the subscriber cover isn't too bad either = really great job!”
Nepenthes posted, “Absolutely gorgeous! Both covers are stunning and the editorial is amazing.”
MulletProof gave props to the model’s skills in front of the camera. “You can tell how underrated [Aline] actually is just by looking at this and seeing how she masters these poses. Beautiful girl/story/Birand's photographs.” She also credited Vogue Turkey for setting the standard that other magazines are compelled to compete with. “I love it when a magazine such as Vogue Turkey, that inevitably leads its field, raises the bar for the rest and they're continually going out of their way to bring it and produce spectacular imagery.”
