As if Vogue Australia wasn’t knocking it out of the park enough lately, the magazine outdid itself for its big September 2014 cover. The Australian glossy tapped Freja Beha Erichsen, who was exclusively shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin for the magazine’s biggest issue of the year. Donning an outfit from Nicolas Ghesquière‘s debut collection for Louis Vuitton, Freja was styled by Melanie Ward for the beautifully simple cover image.
Naturally, our forum members are ecstatic about Freja’s new cover. “Wow, that’s beautiful! Perfect September cover!” enthused Pyslocke, setting off the mood and kicking off the discussion in the thread.
“Wowww!!! The best Vogue Australia cover! It’s just beautiful! Incredible!” wrote MoniqValentino.
MON shared their sentiments and posted, “Beautiful!!! I love it so much. Laid back yet very gorgeous. Effortless!! And wow, Vogue Australia got Inez and Vinoodh.”
Setting her feelings for Freja aside, tigerrouge admitted the cover was good: “No great fan of Freja, but that’s a beautiful cover.”
“How gorgeous! Love everything about it, and yay for so little text,” wrote Miss Dalloway.
Fiercification was also impressed: “Gorgeous cover…very interesting to see I&V shooting for Vogue Australia and I also love that LV look.”
