Vogue Korea is one of those editions that unfortunately often falls off the radar, but the magazine has caught our attention this month with its eye-catching yet simple cover. Andreea Diaconu is the magazine’s cover model of choice, her third for Vogue. The Romanian brunette beauty and favorite of Emmanuelle Alt was shot by Alexi Lubomirski in a classic studio setting, posing elegantly in Prada.
Surprisingly, the majority of our forum members are loving it! “Love this cover. Andreea’s beautiful face and features [should] really get her on more covers!” enthused justaguy.
“Gorgeous! I like everything about this, especially the pose,” contributed blusheels.
Forum member john2elmejor simply described the cover as “amazing!”
Koibito was reminded of something after looking at the cover: “Reminds me of Audrey Hepburn in My Fair Lady before she transformed.” Maybe it’s the hat?
Although for the sake of variety, a select few were disappointed. Like burbuja8910, who thought, “She looks terrible,” and wasn’t afraid to voice her opinion.
“I just wish Andreea didn’t look so old on the cover. She looks at least 20 years older than she actually is,” ranted niknak. Ouch, poor Andreea!
“There’s not a pore or a wrinkle on her face, how can she look 43?” questioned kokobombon, firing back.
The styling and cover overall are certainly unusual and we applaud Vogue Korea for that. Share your own opinion here.
