Edward Enninful has been delivering fresh faces on the cover of British Vogue for the last few months. Lupita Nyong’o made her debut on the magazine for February, Irina Shayk popped up last month and now the British fashion bible welcomes Jodie Comer for April 2020. The Killing Eve actress photographs like a dream wearing a mohair vest from Miu Miu’s Spring 2020 collection (picked by Enninful) for the Steven Meisel-shot image.
We’ll race you down to the newsstand for this one. “Undoubtedly my favorite Enninful x Meisel cover so far. Jodie looks fantastic and so reminiscent of Rachel Williams on Vogue covers in the 80s. Simply can’t get over it,” raved aracic the moment the cover dropped.
“Fabulous! Love how Jodie became a Meisel muse. First the Loewe campaign, now this. She’s such a fantastic, charismatic actress, finally someone worthy of attention on the cover,” applauded style_expert.

“Beautiful… A perfect throwback to those 80s Richard Avedon beauty cover shots! Grace Mirabella would be proud!” proclaimed Miss Dalloway.
“Best cover I’ve seen in a looooooooong time. She’s so utterly gorgeous,” added anlabe32.
“Oh, this is absolutely fantastic! Easily one of the best ones from Edward (I can still see the Saffron Vadher and Adwoa Aboah covers). Jodie is gorgeous and the magazine gave that justice. I love the colors. The makeup. The hair. Even the art direction looks better! Everything works. Good job,” said MON.
Marc10 was in the same frame of mind: “Absolutely glorious, she looks like a goddamn supermodel. Meisel is really unmatched. No one makes women look more beautiful than him.”
“A beautiful, classic and utterly flawless portrait from Meisel that showcases Comer’s beauty perfectly! What more could we possibly ask for?” vogue28 chimed in.
