The new face of Chanel handbags, Alice Dellal, never expected to be one of designer Karl Lagerfeld's iconic muses. For most people, that's a pretty safe assumption, but Dellal's one of the few handpicked by the Kaiser to represent the legendary French fashion house.
"I would have never thought that I'd be doing Chanel," she tells a reporter in a video interview released by the brand. "I don't want to compare myself to the others, but the other people that did the handbags are all so different. Vanessa Paradis, Lily Allen, Blake Lively, and now me. I think it's good. They've got a variety of people and personalities."
When asked whether she likes to play with boyish style, Dellal answered in the affirmative. "I like to be comfortable. And I think men tend to dress more comfortably than ladies. They can just put on a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt, and I like doing that. Comfort first."
