Over the weekend, the latest from French title Numéro surfaced on the forums. The May 2014 cover features Aymeline Valade wearing a red Dolce & Gabbana dress, photographed by Txema Yeste. Valade (who debuted her blonde hair during fashion week) is seen posing against a saturated backdrop, a perfect complement to the "exotique" cover line.
"One of the few times where her blonde hair doesn't bother me," wrote Marc10.
Although |PerfectTonight| disagreed: "Blond doesn't suit her at all!"
"YES! Aymeline + saturated colors + Exotique = I'M IN!" wrote an enthused miguelalmeida.
"Nice to see Aymeline on the cover and love the colours and she looks gorgeous!" agreed visualoptimism.
Nepenthes was also head over heels for the cover: "Aymeline looks absolutely glorious. I love Yeste's saturated style."
As was Kanna, who was pleased to see Txeme Yeste shoot the cover: "Finally an impressive cover came out in a long time from Numéro. I'm happy for it. Aymeline looks sensual yet classy and the photo itself is well-suited for the theme of the issue. Exotic. Txema Yeste is the only photographer I like among the ones who newly joined Numéro."
"Everything in this picture looks sooo good ! Aymeline made a great job here. Styling and background amazing!" wrote Emmanuelle.
I used to absolutely love French Numéro but I have found their issues to be disappointing for a number of years now. Let's hope this particular issue holds some promise. Want to add your two cents? Join the discussion here.
