We love it when Swedish retailer H&M teams up with a designer and gives us all the chance to purchase a high-end looking piece at a fraction of the price — and the latest in the collaboration pipeline is Liberty. The quintessentially British department store with a contemporary edge is renowned for being an emporium for innovative and eclectic designs, and is a must-see for those visiting London.
Liberty is most well-known for its unique prints covering everything from scarves to books, spanning both classic heritage to reinterpreted archival patterns. Unfortunately for us ladies, the H&M x Liberty collaboration will be menswear only, covering shirts, handkerchiefs and a bow tie, costing around 15 to 50 euros each. But we’re pretty sure that we could at least pull off one of the shirts if we fall in love with the print enough!
The prints in question aim to mix classic Liberty patterns with current trends and we can’t wait to see the final pieces. The capsule collection will be available in September in select stores internationally.
