Our forums are on fire today and one of the latest threads is for Vogue Turkey. The magazine has tapped Rosie Huntington-Whiteley to star on its August 2014 cover. Photographed by Horst Diekgerdes, the British bombshell dons a white dress teamed with a black belt as her blonde tresses cascade down the left side of her structured face. Perfect, right? Think again…
Our forum members aren’t so convinced. “Oh, that cover is so bad. Rosie’s face looks just awful, especially her lips. The styling doesn’t convince me, her personal style is much better than it. The background and fonts looks like Harper’s Baazar not Vogue,” wrote narcyza.
“Once again, I do not understand Rosie as a cover model for Vogue and here it’s probably her worst. This picture looks like a behind-the-scenes outtake, not a cover. She’s a great lingerie model, great for VS and everything glamour and sexy, great in swimwear, but not for these types of jobs where it requires to look edgy/high fashion. She’s gorgeous, but I don’t see her image (as a model) working as well as Raquel Zimmermann, Karen Elson or Carolyn Murphy for example,” stated Bertrando3.
“Why is she not looking at the camera?” questioned ALAUU.
Sensation shared the same sentiments: “What an unflattering choice of a cover shot.”
“Rosie never looks real to me on covers, she just looks fake/over-Photoshopped. I actually like that she’s glancing down, but the styling is very cheap looking,” commented justaguy.
One post that stood out amongst the rest was from kokobombon, who contributed, “I like the styling and the fact that she’s not looking to the camera.”
