New York Fashion Week officially kicked off today, and while we’ll be scouring the runways looking to identify next season’s trends, statement pieces and accessories, Pantone is giving a sneak peek at what to expect from the collections this season. We hope you like blues, greens and grays because according to the folks at Pantone, they make up most of the top 10 colors for Spring 2015, for both womenswear and menswear.
Pantone released its predictions for the top colors used this season to WWD. Each of the top four on both the women’s and men’s list includes at least two blues and one green shade. For women, the top five colors were Aquamarine, Scuba Blue, Lucite Green, Classic Blue and Toasted Almond. For the fellas, Dusk Blue, Glacier Gray and Treetop are the top three, while Classic Blue and Toasted Almond closely follow in fourth and fifth place.
Sounds like it’s going to be a very chilled-out spring season!
