Forget the limo — Andreja Pejic, Alexandra Agoston and Jean Paul Gaultier know how to make an entrance. The Australian models escorted the designer to the opening night of The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk exhibition last night at Melbourne’s National Gallery of Victoria, in none other than a horse and carriage.
The trio made for the perfect entourage, with Alexandra in a black strapless Jean Paul Gaultier Couture jumpsuit with pointed-toe heels, Jean Paul in a suave leather jacket and maxi skirt, and Andreja rocking a blue mini with a matching cape because, well, she’s a freakin’ hero.
Both girls have a lot to thank Jean Paul for, having worked with him on multiple occasions in the past. Andreja got her big break when she walked both the men’s and women’s Spring 2011 shows for the designer, and Alexandra has worked with Jean Paul for six seasons, including his farewell ready-to-wear show at Paris Fashion Week. Both Andreja and Alexandra feature in the exhibition.
The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk will be on display at the National Gallery of Victoria from October 17th, 2014 through February 8th, 2015.
