Emmy Rossum has always maintained a certain elegance when it comes to style. Cotton Incorporated has even taken notice, placing the Shameless star front and center in a new advertising campaign. The actress/singer's spot highlights New York City and has Emmy outfitted in designs from Monique Lhuillier, Elie Tahari, Oscar de la Renta, as well as Phillip Lim.

It's really no surprise that Emmy was chosen to represent the brand since she's been consistently impressing on the red carpet for years now. Back in April 2009 at the 6th Annual Spring Dinner Dance in New York City, she opted for this tiered light blue Christian Dior. That embellished waistband really set the Resort 2009 gown apart. When it came time for Fashion Group International's 26th Annual Night of Stars in New York City in October 2009, Emmy looked like a golden goddess in this draped Donna Karan gown.

Her spectacular run continued at the annual Met Gala in May 2010 where she donned a cobalt Kenneth Cole gown. Emmy accessorized with an equally colorful House of Lavande collar necklace. She traveled to Chicago in March 2011 for a JW Marriott hotel grand opening. Her saffron yellow Amanda Wakeley Spring 2010 satin dress was complemented by Coomi jewelry, a Jimmy Choo clutch and Rene Caovilla peep-toes.

This emerald Yves Saint Laurent served as Emmy’s sophisticated selection for the Metropolitan Opera gala premiere of Rossini's Le Comte Ory in New York City toward the end of March. What really made the gown stand out was its purple jeweled waistband and her coordinating Yves Saint Laurent suede peep-toes. Etro's colorblock number was Emmy's pick for the CBS, The CW and Showtime TCA Party last August in Beverly Hills. The Spring 2011 silk mini featured shades of blue on top and a tan skirt. She rounded out the look with a pair of Anita Ko earrings and Brian Atwood's Divine sandals.

At W Magazine's 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards Celebration in Los Angeles this January, Emmy looked lovely in a Georges Hobeika Spring 2011 Couture creation. Ruby-colored Salvatore Ferragamo pumps really amplified the pale crepe georgette and organza gown, while Chopard diamond cluster earrings polished off the look. Emmy was decked out in Jason Wu at the designer's Target collection launch in New York City later that month. Her long sleeve blush blouse was teamed with a lace print straight skirt along with H. Stern gems and nude Christian Louboutin Pigalle pumps.

Oliver Tolentino's Eco Couture collection yellow cocktail dress made from pineapple fiber and hemp was Emily's wardrobe for Global Green USA's 9th Annual Pre-Oscar Party in Hollywood this February. Salvatore Ferragamo Benoit metallic leather sandals and Chopard diamonds completed the earth-friendly look. She was back at the opera last month for the premiere of Jules Massenet's Manon. Emmy's magenta Yves Saint Laurent Edition Soir satin sleeveless gown was styled with Chopard white diamond stud earrings, a black clutch, matching sandals and an eye-catching embellished choker.
