Ex-Soapie Babes and Models-Turned-Actors Celebrate the 3rd Annual Australians In Film Awards Benefit Gala

Australian celebrities stepped out to toast their amazing success abroad for the 3rd Annual Australians In Film Awards Benefit Gala at the Fairmont Miramar Hotel in Los Angeles on Monday, October 27.

The Project‘s Carrie Bickmore was meant to host the event, but an unfortunately timed ear infection prevented her from doing so. Channel 10 still got a plug though, as the man who may or may not be part of The Bachelor Australia love pentagon, Osher Günsberg, served as the master of ceremonies.

We were treated to a lust-worthy feast, in the form of ex-Neighbours star Margot Robbie and former Home & Away actor Brenton Twaites, who prove that appearing on Australian soaps generally lead to international stardom and looking fine.

Here they are, looking hot as usual, with Margot repping a strapless mini from Aussie designer Dion Lee’s Resort 2015 collection, and Brenton rocking a fine-check suit pulled together with a floral button-up shirt. Them hunky eyebrows and combed-back man lob should be noted too.

Model-turned-actress Abbey Lee Kershaw couldn’t let them have all the seductive fun, though. The Mad Max: Fury Road spine-chiller stepped out in an unbuttoned blouse tucked into a black midi skirt, teamed with chunky metallic shoes and pink eye makeup to accent her candy-hued locks.

Fellow model-turned-Mad-Max-Fury-Road-star Courtney Eaton also turned up in a black off-the-shoulder dress with a midriff cut out, teamed with pointy leopard-print heels and a nude-pink clutch.
