Sheer, gauzy fabrics dominated the Spring/Summer 2009 runways in New York, London, Milan and Paris. And while the mention of see-through dresses, skirts, tank tops and bodysuits immediately bring to mind overtly sexual undertones, designers managed to utilize these sheer fabrics in a playful way without being over-the-top provocative.
