WAXON WAXBAR Opens Up Shop in Toronto’s PATH

The new WAXON WAXBAR in Toronto's PATH.

Mr. Miyagi was on to something when he taught the Karate Kid to wax on and wax off, though it’s doubtful he had hair removal in mind. WAXON WAXBAR, the waxing-only spa, has opened a new location in Toronto’s PATH for on-the-go financiers (The Bay Street Kids?) looking for quick and painless hair removal services, and has expanded its eponymous line of all-natural, locally-made beauty products.

Opened this month, the new PATH location is true to the company’s mantra of providing quick and virtually painless waxing services in a stylish and high-end environment. In other words, no beds separated by dingy curtains here. Services are performed by certified waxologists (yep) using three different types of wax, including one that grips hairs as short as 2 mm, which means you’ll be free and clear of unwanted follicles almost as soon as they sprout.

WAXON’s beauty product expansion includes the new Hydrating Body Cocktail featuring a combination of sea buckthorn, coconut, olive and apricot kernel oils to hydrate and smooth skin. The cocktail comes in Citrus Twist (white grapefruit and blood orange), Lemonrazz (raspberry lemonade) and Pomtini (pomegranate mango) scents. If that’s not enough oil for you, top it off with WAXON’s popular BodyShot hydrating product that uses coconut, avocado and arnica oils to hydrate, heal bruises, repair skin post-sunbathing and protect against mosquito bites with its citrus scent.

WAXON WAXBAR products are available at the Summerhill and PATH locations as well as online.
