It’s a good week and big dose of relief for a number of labels including House of Holland, Danielle Scutt, and Cooperative Designs, who were all recently announced as the recipients of the Newgen sponsorship. Newgen is short for New Generation and they have, in the past, supported the likes of Topshop. The designers from the respective labels are all set to show their Spring/Summer 2010 collections during what is looking to be the most exciting London Fashion Week to date (Burberry and Matthew Williamson, among many others, are showing in London this upcoming season in honor of London Fashion Week’s 25th anniversary).
The full list of those receiving sponsorship for their runway shows are House of Holland, Mark Fast, Mary Katrantzou, Meadham Kirchhoff, and Peter Pilotto. In addition, exhibition sponsorship is going to Atalanta Weller, Cooperative Desigs, Craig Lawrence, Danielle Scutt, Dominic Jones, Fred Butler, House of Holland, KTZ, Louise Gray, LP.BG, Mark Fast, Mary Katrantzou, Michael Lewis, Michael van der Ham, Peter Pilotto, and Sykes. The new presentation sponsorship which gives those in attendance the opportunity to view the collections up close up for the first time is going to Danielle Scutt, Louise Gray, LP.BG, and Sykes.
