The Target designer collaboration news just doesn’t stop!
Following the recent news of the forthcoming Zac Posen for Target collection and images of the Rodarte collaboration comes the announcement that the mega retailer is partnering with world-renowned luxury brand Liberty of London – known for bold florals and exuberant prints – to launch a collection across fashion and home categories available exclusively at Target.
The fashion collection will feature apparel and accessories for men, women, and children, while the home collection will include home décor, storage and organization, and garden. The affordable collection will launch on Target.com and Target stores nationwide March 14, 2010. Select pieces from the Liberty of London for Target collection will also be available at Liberty in London.
On a more imminent note, New Yorkers like myself who were worried they might have to venture outside of NYC to get their hands on the Rodarte for Target collection will be delighted to learn that starting December 11, Target is opening-up Target To-Go – an innovative, limited-time-only walk-up holiday shopping destination that will stock a mix of 50 hot holiday gifts at low prices all of which are wrapped and ready-to-go.
Basically shoppers will walk-up to a counter, pick out gifts, order by number, and then poof! They’ll get their gifts ready-to-go.
Among the 50 items there will be five coveted Rodarte pieces — the sequin ribcage dress ($49.99), the black halter dress ($39.99), the coral slipdress ($39.99), and two bow belts ($12.99 each).
Target To-Go will be open to the public for three days only, from Friday, December 11 through Sunday, December 13, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, at Gansevoort and Washington Streets, at the High Line entrance.
