The Inspiration: Peter Dundas called his show "Call of the Wild."
The Look: A far cry from traditional Pucci, but no less extraordinary, as Pucci's signature prints were given a tribal makeover. Of particular note were Peter Dundas' tribal fur outerwear pieces, which were wearable while being undeniably unique with their "wild" streaks of black and their orange, red and yellow patterns. Other collection standouts included elaborately beaded and fringed dresses and tribal knitwear like a chunky, fringe-hemmed blanket top. For the more tame, there were also slinky jersey gowns and sharp monochrome suits, though what those pieces lacked in tribal inspiration they more than made up for in sex appeal.
The Accessories: Rectangular shoulder bags, strappy gladiator sandals and pointed below-the-knee, buckle-accented boots.
The Beauty: Smoky eyes, a muted lip and gold shadow was applied to the models' foreheads for a tribal effect. Hair was center-parted and worn down.
The Takeaway: Peter Dundas once again showed he's a master when it comes to making pieces that manage to be sexy without sacrificing sophistication or originality. Kate Moss has undoubtedly been notified.
