When I get dressed in the morning I think… about everything I have to do that day, and trying to be positive, and thinking it’s going to be a great day.
The most surprising thing about motherhood is… before I had kids, I used to pretty much be fearless, and now that I have kids I get really nervous and scared doing things that I used to have no problem with. Like getting on an airplane–now my mind goes to a place like, “What if we crash?” It’s awful.
The most surprising thing about married life… nothing’s really surprised me because we’d been living together and already had babies together.
If you’d look at my desktop you’d see… pictures of the kids, shoe inspiration photos, fashion photos and content that I’m working on for my app.
My guilty pleasures are… spending too much money on fresh flowers. I think there’s nothing better and I’m surrounded by boys every day, so this is my girly indulgence.
The last thing I googled was… when kids get their final molars.
The place I’m dying to travel to is… The Maldives.
The last book that I read was…The Four Agreements by Miguel Angel Ruiz. I read it before, but it’s a great book to read periodically.
On a typical Saturday night I’m…. at home with the family, probably cooking dinner if I can.
When it comes to staying healthy… I’m always reading labels. We don’t put any toxic chemicals in our body and I’m kind of a freak about it.
I would never travel without… my phone, water and snacks.
My go-to snacks on a busy day include… either Amazing Grass or Lara Bars. I also have these little to-go almond butter packets by Justin’s with an apple. I make homemade trail mix with chocolate chips, nuts and dried cherries as well.
If my days had one extra hour, I’d… take a bath or read more.
My biggest fashion pet peeve is… when someone is wearing something that isn’t their style, so they’re uncomfortable and you can tell. It doesn’t look like them, and it’s just so obvious.
Looking back at my reality TV days, I think… what a great period of my life! I had a great time and it definitely showed, but I was also so young and I had a lot of growing up to do.
The people from Laguna Beach and The Hills that I’m still close with are… I talk to Heidi the most, and Audrina occasionally, and I talk to Alex and Alex from Laguna Beach.
People might be surprised to know… that it’s really hard for me to be vulnerable.
My one item I’m dying to splurge on is… the one thing I had my eye on, my husband actually wound up getting me as my push present, which was a little backpack from The Row. Yeah, he did a good job!
Kristin Cavallari was in her junior year of high school when the first season of Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County began production for MTV. With her wit, charisma and girl-next-door looks, Cavallari was an instant TV sensation, winning over audiences across the nation. After wrapping two successful years on the hit show, Cavallari switched gears to focus on a career in acting before ultimately landing back on MTV on the reality series The Hills.
Since then, Kristin has appeared on Dancing with the Stars and was the host of The Fabulist on E!. She is currently working on her second shoe collection, Kristin Cavallari by Chinese Laundry, and recently welcomed her second child with her husband, Chicago Bears Quarterback Jay Cutler.
