New Australian swimwear label Ocho & Oak has just hit the market, and it’s perfect for the girl who loves to look luxe while holidaying poolside or frolicking in the beach during the summertime.
Founded by 25-year-old Sydneysider Vanessa Vanselow, Ocho & Oak came into being after her struggle to find swimwear which was both flattering and functional, looking to bold digital prints combines with Brazilian-inspired cuts to create a quality bikini range for us girls. “I wanted to create a swimwear label that is accessible, flattering yet effortlessly cool, with a premium look and feel that’s affordable,” Vanessa told theFashionSpot.
The vivid prints are sure to catch the best kind of attention, including a soft monochromatic zebra pattern, purple scales and green-and-yellow leopard spots, all contrasted with a strong blocks of colour like white, black, orange or metallic gold.
There’s also a mix of cuts to choose from, including bandeaus, ruched pants, halters and more, to ensure the best fit for your body. There’s also the option to mix sizes, because, let’s be honest, our bust and hip measurements don’t always correspond with one another.
Shot at Sydney’s Clovelly Beach by Cait Miers, Ocho & Oak’s first-ever campaign shoot taps into the natural beauty of model Stephanie Cherry, who Vanessa feels is “the quintessential Aussie beach babe”. Move over, Lara Bingle. “She perfectly encompasses what Ocho & Oak is all about,” Vanessa says. “She’s got a fresh, effortlessly cool and edgy look about her which I love!”
The range is now exclusively available online at Ocho & Oak’s online store, and you can check out the full collection in our gallery below.
